What the Managers do and What the Leaders of the business do?

 Figure1: Manager Vs. Leader

Being a Good Manager is quite an accomplishment. Management is by no means an easy task, and mastering the wide range if varied skills that are requited can take many years. The great managers get their jobs done efficiently and effectively. Most of the time managers are not good leaders.

Leadership is a process of visioning in to the future and exercising influence in transforming the behavior of the followers towards the vision, through goal setting, guiding and motivating the followers. Mostly leaders are brilliantly proven managers.

Management is about deal with complication. Leadership, by difference, is about deal with revolution. (Kotter, 2001)
